Ok my Starbucks followers…..It’s been awhile since I’ve added any new Starbucks ornaments and was focusing on other Coffee Houses in the last 8 months. But now that 95% are up to date with 2015, it’s time to dive back into Starbucks.  I’m going to keep this list to 2013 because it is fairly large for USA and International releases.

INTERNATIONALS

Starbucks releases ornaments all around the world as most already know. Well they didn’t hold back in 2013 with a total of 4 releases which differ from the USA. However they did sell the Swarovski and Create Your Own without variation so that is actually 6 in total released. The Swarovski and Create your Own are identical to USA so I will exclude them from this list below.

2013 Red To Go Cup Style 2

This looks very similar to the US version, but the pattern and layout is different in a few ways. This version shows the same pattern as the Gift Card Ornament that was also sold in the US with Holly and Poinsettia. The logo is slightly larger then the US version as well.

This version was sold in Czech Republic, Greece, Japan, Malaysia and Philippines. Czech  sold this with a bag of Christmas Blend and Tumbler in a gift set.

The US Version was sold in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and Vietnam

Here are a few side by sides for comparison

2013 Pink Melodies To Go Cup

Japan loves pink and this couldn’t have been more suiting as an ornament. Pink, red and white colors, show the Melodies Angel gliding through falling snow flakes. It reminds me of the cherry blossoms that come in early spring.

2013 White Mug w/Snow Flakes and Candy Cane Handle

A new spin on ornaments for this year was the bulbus mug they released with iridescent snow flakes. This is slightly larger than the To Go Cups and slightly heavier.

2013 Paper Ball Note Pad Ornament

This was a rare find and sold in a gift pack

This is a gift pack which you can insert a photo and comes with 10 Gift Card holder’s to stuff in stockings or give someone special the entire gift pack. This came with the tiny paper note pad ornament which folds over and velcros to its self to create a ball ornament.

Now I thought Starbucks was creative in 2012 with the paper doves but this takes the cake. I feel like this is the easter egg of Starbucks Ornaments.

Well that concludes the 2013 findings for USA and International. From here on out, our releases become longer and longer.  Starbucks has caught onto our collecting market and are taking full advantage by releasing more and more.

Coming up next is 2014 which has a total of 25 yes I said 25!!! 🙂

Peet’s Coffee Ornaments 2015

Happy Easter my fellow collector’s. So I have talked to my colleagues around the world and it seems many are not familiar with Peet’s. If you are not aware of Peet’s, here are a few points to get you up to speed on Peet’s Coffee & Tea

  • Peet’s Coffee & Tea is a San Francisco Bay Area specialty coffee roaster and retailer
  • Founded in 1966 by Alfred Peet from Berkeley California
  • Early Introduction of dark roast Arabica coffee and French roast espresso drinks
  • Starbucks founders knew Alfred Peet and designed the SBX franchise based on Peet’s
  • Starbucks original started by selling and brewing Peet’s Coffee Beans
  • Starbucks purchased Peet’s in 1984
  • Peet followers are called “Peetniks”

So now that you know that Peet’s and Starbuck’s are connected, I hope you’ll pay more attention to them in the future. They have some great coffee’s too.  I personally enjoy the Colombia Luminosa which is a light brew. It is a mild smooth flavor with a slight sweet aroma.

Peet’s puts out great ornaments also. So let’s check out the 2015 line up.

2015 Holiday To Go Cup

Here we have the yearly ceramic To Go Cup ornament. This has a Peet’s holiday theme of Love and Coffee on one side and Pete’s Logo on the other side marked 2015. Hung with a red cord hanger

You will notice in the photos that the Limited Edition photo has a black top. This is from Peet’s online shop.

When I received mine, it has red instead of black. If anyone has received or purchased one with black, please let me know so I can update the list for 2 styles.

I do enjoy the yearly To Go Cup, but this feels more Valentines Day with all the red.

retail price $6.95

2015 Holiday Mug Ornament

Now this little guy was a nice surprise in the line up, and is my favorite of the 3. It makes me want to deck the halls.

A ceramic mug featuring a red and white snowflake theme. Hung with a red cord hanger

retail price $6.95

2015 Mug Ornament

2015 Holiday Thermos Ornament

And look it here. A Holiday Thermos ornament….Yes how adorable. Now this made me think of giving this as a gift to a few men in my life and family. They would love this I think. Caribou did a thermos in 2013 and I am still on the hunt. Peet’s has filled that void for now 🙂

A ceramic thermos featuring a gold and white snowflake theme. Hung with a gold cord hanger

retail price $6.95

I hope you have enjoyed learning a little about Peet’s Coffee and checking out the 2015 List.

HAPPY EASTER!!!

Dunkin Donuts Ornaments 2015

Hey there guys….It’s been awhile since my last post, but I’m ready to get back into the Ornaments after relaxing through the winter.

I love what DD released for us in 2015.  We got 2 new styles this year Yeah!!!! And if you were lucky, one of your local stores might have also taken out some left overs from 2014. My local DD did and I was able to scoop up the 2014 Ugly Sweater ornament as well.  I have noticed this from store to store over the last 4 yrs. So sometimes it pays to wait before jumping on Ebay and searching that one you missed.  Just a little note to ones self for 2016 😉  Ok so let’s see what we have….

2015 Dunkin Donuts Sprinkle Ball Ornament

Ok seriously I am through the roof about this ornament, How about you? I think it the best and classiest of ornaments, that DD ever released. It’s a glass ornament filled with rainbow sprinkles.  Seriously who wouldn’t love this beauty. It does say “For Display Only, Not for Consumption” So don’t go trying to eat those tasty looking sprinkles inside.  🙂

This is hung with a grey satin ribbon with bow, with the DD logo pattern

I believe they sold for $5 each

2015 Dunkin Donuts To Go Cup Sleigh

It wouldn’t be Christmas or the Holidays without a To Go Cup ornament. So DD kept the To Go Cup this year, but with a twist.

Tipped on its side and made into a Sleigh that is filled with gifts in classic DD colors. The packaging says Hand Painted – Limited Edition. You will find some a little more refined then others because of the hand painting. This is hung with a silver metallic string

I think this also sold for $5 each

Both 2015 Ornaments were larger in size this year which was nice. I don’t mind the smaller ones but I like the heavier ornaments on a thick tree

I hope you all got your ornaments, especially the Sprinkles Ornament. 🙂

Now what will they think of Nov 2016.

Have a great night everyone
