Here we are in the end of 2015 and this is the first year I am right on track with all releases.

Caribou went back to Nepal to provide us with adorable Fair Trade ornaments again this year. The hand felting and applique details are done by a women’s felting business in Kathmandu. This is the same artisan who produced the 2013 ornaments.

They always put such great thought and care into choosing who they get the ornament’s from. This show’s how big of a heart Caribou has for the world. And I love that!!

2015 Fair Trade Wool Handmade Animals

All Ornaments are made with 100% natural wool, and non-toxic, azo-free dyes. The wool scraps are recycled into new products. The animal’s are a Hedgehog, Polar Bear, Raccoon, and Caribou of course.

These are handmade in Nepal by a Fair Trade artisan group called dZi Inc. Using natural woolen fibers and earth friendly dyes.  All purchases support artisans, their families and communities. It also provides employment in a safe and healthy environment. dZi Inc. is a founding member of Fair Trade Federation.  These are also still available for purchase at  Caribou Coffee Online Store

2015 Holiday Resin To Go Cup

This is a collectible resin ornament with a cheery Caribou holiday print on both sides of the cup.Blue ombre backdrop with 1 side a tree of to go cups, cheerfully decorated and a Caribou Coffee logo ornament on the other. Caribou has already sold out online but if you are lucky enough to live near one. They may still have them in store.

After last Christmas, I was on my quest to compile a list of Caribou Coffee ornaments and all through my search there was only 1 photo of this little mug.  I had reached out to the photo owner to see if there was a date, but did not receive any response. So I just hung onto the photo til maybe it showed up somewhere. Low and behold one popped up on Ebay.

So you can imagine my joy and excitement when someone posted listed one. I bought it that week as I had to have it. So here it is…..

2007 Cup-O-Cheer with Orange Ornament

How cute is this…I love beach tones too. This has an orange and red ornament with an off set white outline.  Then the Caribou Coffee logo on the back with the year 2007.

This actually helped with all the mugs I see listed on ebay with this ornament design and no one seems to know the year.  So if you are looking through Ebay and see the below mug’s, they are from 2007.

2014 Brought a mix of resin, metal and wool this season. I think this season has more of a unisex feel. Some of these I’d give someone I was dating as a stocking stuffer.

This year’s to go cup, features a mountain scape scene, with tree’s clouds and snow. I love the two tone blue and white’s this year. This is the perfect Coffee Lover’s little gift!

Another handmade animal ornament from Caribou. To complete the animal theme they also released the Woolen Wolf with red and grey striped scarf. He looks to cute in his howl stance.

2012 Caribou Coffee’s Holiday Ornaments have a Classic and Whimsy mix of items. They are a very cute bunch I must say so myself.

2012 Holiday Mini To Go Cup

This was a replica of the in-store Holiday To Go Cup that year. The To Go cups might be made of ceramic, but I’m still working on figuring that out for sure. Hopefully I can confirm that in future post for Caribou Coffee.

Is this not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen. Caribou does caution that this is made of sticks and is flammable. It’s nice to see Caribou keeping the customer’s informed.

White Furry Owl perched on a branch. Orange Eyes and Grey Beak. I think this might just be my favorite of the whole bunch this year.

In 2010 Caribou Coffee stopped producing the Cup-O-Cheer mini mugs. They also changed the company logo. While in 2011 the Hand Crafted item’s started. I love that Caribou did hand crafted item’s because I’m a crafter as well, so it makes me appreciate these items even more.
